CARBIZOLE 5  (also spelled as Caibimazole) is a medication used in the treatment of hyperthyroidism, which is an overactive thyroid gland. CARBIZOLE 5  is commonly prescribed to manage conditions such as Graves' disease or toxic nodular goiter.  CARBIZOLE 5  works by inhibiting the production of thyroid hormones in the thyroid gland.
