Acebrophylline and Doxofylline
S PHYLLIN DX are both bronchodilator drugs used to treat respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Acebrophylline is a combination of theophylline and ambroxol, which work by relaxing the smooth muscles in the airways and reducing inflammation. S PHYLLIN DX also helps to thin and loosen the mucus, making it easier to cough up. Acebrophylline is primarily used to treat chronic bronchitis, but it may also be used to treat asthma.
Doxofylline, on the other hand, is a newer generation of theophylline derivative that has fewer side effects than theophylline.
S PHYLLIN DX works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the airways and increasing the airflow to the lungs. Doxofylline also has anti-inflammatory properties and may be used to reduce inflammation in the airways. It is primarily used to treat asthma and COPD. Both S PHYLLIN DX are available in tablet form and are usually taken orally. They are both prescription medications and should only be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
