Atorvastatin 40 mg
Atovastrin is a prescription medication used to treat high cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. Atovastrin belongs to a group of drugs called statins, which work by blocking the enzyme responsible for producing cholesterol in the liver. By reducing the production of cholesterol, atorvastatin can help lower LDL ("bad") cholesterol and triglycerides, while increasing HDL ("good") cholesterol levels. Atovastrin medication is usually taken once daily, with or without food, and is best taken at the same time each day. However, it's important to follow your doctor's instructions regarding how to take this medication, as well as any other medications you may be taking. Additionally, it's important to keep your doctor informed of any side effects you experience while taking Atovastrin. Common side effects may include muscle pain, weakness, and fatigue, although serious side effects are rare.
