SEIZMET G is a combination medication that are used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Glimepiride is an oral medication from the class of drugs called sulfonylureas. It works by stimulating the pancreas to release insulin, which helps to lower blood sugar levels. Glimepiride is taken orally, usually once a day, with or without food.
Metformin SR (sustained-release) is an oral medication from the class of drugs called biguanides. Metformin SR is taken orally, usually once a day, with a meal to minimize gastrointestinal side effects.
