Montelukast, Levocetirizine, and Ambroxol SR
MONTELUKE AXL are three different medications used for different purposes. Let's look at each one separately:
Montelukast: Montelukast is a medication that belongs to a class of drugs known as leukotriene receptor antagonists.
MONTELUKE AXL  primarily used for the treatment of asthma and allergic rhinitis (hay fever). Montelukast works by blocking the action of leukotrienes, which are substances in the body that cause inflammation, bronchoconstriction, and other symptoms associated with asthma and allergies.
MONTELUKE AXL  often used as a maintenance therapy to help prevent asthma symptoms and reduce the frequency of asthma attacks.
Levocetirizine: Levocetirizine is an antihistamine medication that is commonly used to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (such as hay fever) and chronic urticaria (hives). It works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance produced by the body during an allergic reaction. Levocetirizine can help alleviate symptoms like sneezing, itching, runny nose, and watery eyes. It is usually taken orally as a tablet or syrup.
Ambroxol SR: Ambroxol is a medication that has mucolytic properties, meaning it helps thin and loosen mucus in the respiratory tract. It is commonly used in conditions such as bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory conditions associated with excessive mucus production. The "SR" in Ambroxol SR stands for sustained release, indicating that the medication is formulated to release the drug gradually over an extended period of time. This allows for longer-lasting effects and may help reduce the frequency of dosing.
