OB-COLLAR is a medication that belongs to a class of drugs known as farnesoid X receptor agonists. OB-COLLAR is used for the treatment of certain liver diseases, particularly primary biliary cholangitis (PBC).
OB-COLLAR is usually prescribed to patients with primary biliary cholangitis who have not responded adequately to or cannot tolerate the standard treatment, which is ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA). OB-COLLAR may also be used in combination with UDCA in certain cases.
OB-COLLAR is available in strengths of 5 and 10mg.
