Rabeprazole Sodium (20mg) & Ondansetron (4mg)
RABISTRUM ODIN
Rabeprazole sodium (20mg) and Ondansetron (4mg) are two different medications used for different purposes.
Rabeprazole sodium belongs to a class of drugs called proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). It reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the enzyme responsible for acid secretion in the stomach.
Rabeprazole is commonly prescribed to treat conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastric ulcers, and duodenal ulcers. It can also be used in combination with antibiotics to treat Helicobacter pylori infection, a common cause of stomach ulcers.
Ondansetron is a medication classified as a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist. It is commonly used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or surgery.
Ondansetron can also be prescribed to manage nausea and vomiting associated with other causes, such as gastroenteritis (stomach flu) or post-operative recovery.
STERIS PHARMA Generic medicines are typically much cheaper than brand-name drugs. Generic medicines have the same active ingredients, strength, dosage form, and route of administration as their brand-name counterparts.
