Telmisartan and Nebivolol
TELMISTRUM NEBI is a combination medication that is used to treat high blood pressure in adults.
Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that works by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II, which can cause the blood vessels to constrict and increase blood pressure. By blocking the action of angiotensin II, telmisartan helps to relax the blood vessels, which can lower blood pressure.
Nebivolol is a beta blocker that works by blocking the action of adrenaline on the heart and blood vessels. By blocking the effects of adrenaline, nebivolol can reduce heart rate and blood pressure, which can help to lower blood pressure.
TELMISTRUM NEBI is more effective at lowering blood pressure than either medication alone. TELMISTRUM NEBI may also be better tolerated by some patients, as it can reduce the risk of some side effects associated with each medication.
Like all medications, TELMISTRUM NEBI can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. Common side effects may include headache, dizziness, nausea, and fatigue.
