TERAZOSHINE is a medication used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate gland, a condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). TERAZOSHINE belongs to a class of drugs called alpha-blockers, which work by relaxing the muscles in the prostate gland and the bladder neck, making it easier to urinate.
TERAZOSHINE is typically taken as a tablet, usually once daily before bedtime, as prescribed by a doctor. It can take several weeks of treatment for symptoms to improve, and the dosage may be adjusted based on a patient's response to treatment.
