R/C AIRFLOW 100
Salmeterol is a long-acting beta-agonist (LABA) bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, thereby opening up the air passages and making it easier to breathe. Salmeterol provides long-lasting relief from symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness. It is not used for immediate relief during an asthma attack but is taken on a regular schedule to maintain control of symptoms.
Fluticasone, is a corticosteroid. It reduces inflammation in the airways, which helps to prevent asthma attacks and reduce symptoms such as coughing and wheezing. Fluticasone is used as a maintenance medication to control asthma and COPD symptoms on a daily basis.
