Montelukast (10mg), & Ebastine (10mg)
MONTELUKE EBS
Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotrienes, which are substances released by the immune system in response to allergens. By blocking leukotrienes, Montelukast helps to reduce inflammation in the airways, prevent narrowing of the airways, and improve breathing. It is commonly used to manage symptoms of asthma, including wheezing, shortness of breath, and coughing. It may also be prescribed for the prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.
Ebastine, on the other hand, is a second-generation antihistamine. It works by blocking the effects of histamine, which is a chemical released by the immune system during allergic reactions. By blocking histamine, Ebastine helps to relieve symptoms associated with allergies, such as sneezing, itching, runny nose, and watery eyes. It is commonly used to manage seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives).
