RAPIGLINIDE VOG is a combination medication that is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Repaglinide is an oral medication from the class of drugs called meglitinides. It works by stimulating the pancreas to release insulin, which helps to lower blood sugar levels. Repaglinide is taken orally, usually before meals, and it is rapidly absorbed and quickly metabolized by the liver.
Voglibose is an oral medication from the class of drugs called alpha-glucosidase inhibitors. It works by slowing down the digestion of carbohydrates in the intestine, which helps to lower blood sugar levels. Voglibose is taken orally with meals.
RAPIGLINIDE VOG can have side effects. The most common side effects of RAPIGLINIDE VOG include hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), headache, and gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea, bloating, and abdominal discomfort.
