Rosuvastatin (10mg), Fenofibron (160mg)
ROUSTRIN F
Rosuvastatin belongs to a class of drugs called statins. It is primarily used to lower LDL cholesterol ("bad" cholesterol) and triglycerides while increasing HDL cholesterol ("good" cholesterol) in the blood. By reducing cholesterol levels, it helps to decrease the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as heart attacks and strokes. Rosuvastatin works by inhibiting an enzyme in the liver that is responsible for producing cholesterol.
Fenofibrate belongs to a class of drugs called fibric acid derivatives or fibrates. It is primarily used to lower triglyceride levels and increase HDL cholesterol in the blood. Fenofibrate works by reducing the liver's production of triglycerides and enhancing the breakdown of triglycerides in the blood.
ROUSTRIN F is available in strengths of 10 and 20 mg.
STERIS PHARMA Generic medicines are typically much cheaper than brand-name drugs. Generic medicines have the same active ingredients, strength, dosage form, and route of administration as their brand-name counterparts.
