Sertraline (100mg)
SERTINEC is a medication used to treat depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mental health conditions. It belongs to a class of drugs known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), which work by increasing the levels of serotonin in the brain.
SERTINEC  is taken orally, usually once a day, with or without food. It may take several weeks for the full effects of the medication to be felt. Common side effects of SERTINEC include nausea, diarrhea, headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty sleeping. These side effects are usually mild and go away on their own after a few days or weeks.
In rare cases, SERTINEC may cause more serious side effects, such as suicidal thoughts, serotonin syndrome (a potentially life-threatening condition characterized by fever, agitation, and muscle rigidity), and abnormal bleeding or bruising. If you experience any of these symptoms, you should seek medical attention immediately.
It is important to follow your doctor's instructions carefully when taking sertraline and to not exceed the recommended dose. SERTINEC may interact with other medications, so it is important to tell your doctor about all medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and dietary supplements. Your doctor may also recommend therapy or lifestyle changes, such as exercise or stress management techniques, to help manage your condition.
SERTINEC is available in strengths of 50 & 100 mg.
