TACOTINIB is a medication used to treat certain types of arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and ulcerative colitis. TACOTINIB works by inhibiting certain enzymes involved in the immune system, which can reduce inflammation and pain.
The usual recommended dose of TACOTINIB for adults with rheumatoid arthritis or psoriatic arthritis is 5 mg taken twice a day. For adults with ulcerative colitis, the usual dose is 10 mg taken twice a day for 8 weeks, followed by 5 mg taken twice a day.
It is important to take TACOTINIB exactly as prescribed by your doctor, and to follow all instructions on the label. Do not take more or less of TACOTINIB medication than recommended, and do not take it more or less frequently than prescribed.
